Companies going through all the trouble of producing plastisols
in-house for their manufacturing operations would find themselves
better served letting Rutland produce those plastisols in our house
instead. Our expertise in dispersion chemistry and process development
is unsurpassed - as are our production facilities, storage capacity,
and bulk-packaging and just-in-time delivery capabilities. All of
which are available for hire through the comprehensive outsourcing
services we provide. Plastisols, after all, are Rutland's core business.
We can mix them, blend them, and deaerate them more efficiently
and more economically than companies whose core businesses are something
else. And with superior quality, too, as our QS-9000 and ISO 9001
certifications attest.
Customer Benefits
The advantages of becoming a Rutland outsourcing customer are many:
- Freedom from the expense and environmental implications of plastisol
production ·
- The ability to focus additional resources on the primary operation
·
- Faster turnarounds and shorter lead times than in-house schedules
typically permit ·
- Higher quality, lower costing plastisols thanks to Rutland's
certified process controls and raw-material purchasing efficiencies

Outsourcing With Rutland - It Just Makes Sense
Our twin-shaft mixers are linked to data acquisition computers
for absolute process control. Our pilot lab supports trial batching
and plant scale-up with variable-speed mixers offering 1 to 5 gallon
capacity, water-cooled vessels, and vacuum capability. And we have
15 pressurized, vacuum capable tanks ready to deaerate critical
plastisol compounds in 50 to 1,000-gallon batches. Moreover, to
ensure that every ounce of plastisol gets where it has to go when
it has to be there, we maintain our own private fleet of tank trucks
and tractor-trailers. With all of the foregoing at the customer's
disposal, the answer to this question should be clear: Why spend
manpower, production space, and capital resources on doing internally
what can be done better, faster, and cheaper under a outsourcing
arrangement with Rutland Plastic Technologies?
