The M2MAM Color System Helps Screen Printers Reduce Costs, Reduce
Waste Through Efficient Ink Room Management
Every screen printer has had to face the fact that you cannot
possibly stock all of the colors you will be asked to print. As
your shop grows, you will find it is more efficient to blend or
mix two colors together to create a third.
An Infinite World of Color...
The MAM System uses eight single pigment,
primary colors, plus black and white. These primaries can be mixed
to create every possible color. There are also nine opaque fluorescents
that can be used to extend the range of colors even further. Using
Rutland's high opacity primaries, it is easy to create colors that
can be printed on light or dark fabrics. Rutland's MAM
system allows a cleaner, better managed ink room with less waste
and improved efficiencies.
 
Trained color specialists are on staff to help
with formulations as well as answer any questions you may have regarding
the many variables that affect color. The Rutland Small
Batch Mix Department, which began in 1993 has been an extremely
useful program that has given our customers the ability to buy non-stock
colors in quantities less than 30 gallons.
