Direct Printing Quality Available In Textile Transfer Inks

Pineville, N.C. - Rutland Plastic Technologies Inc. announces the introduction of its new HS Series (Hot Split) inks. The HS Series is formulated as an economical press-ready plastisol for hot-split transfer applications on 100% cotton darks and 50/50 polyester/cotton white fabrics.

The HS Series was developed to provide the textile transfer printer with the same level of high quality inks that are used by direct printers. The series consists of 19 mixing primaries, HS Base, HS Clear, HS Printing White, HS Litho White as well as HS four-color process inks. The HS Base is used with Rutland's Color Booster mixing system to create thousands of popular colors. The HS Clear is used as a first down clear when printing four-color process designs.

These specially formulated inks provide great split characteristics, opacity and color range. They are press ready for printing hot-split transfer applications. Their creamy, short body characteristics provide for easy printing, and their tack free formulation allows for a fast shearing action. These inks also allow for the increased ink deposit necessary for creating opaque hot split transfers on dark materials.

In addition to its comprehensive line of high performance inks for screen printed textiles, Rutland also offers specially engineered formulations for the automotive market, and a wide range of plastisol coatings and products for industrial applications. Rutland's commitment to continuous improvement in quality and customer service is evidenced by the company's being the only in the industry to receive ISO 9001 / QS-9000 Quality Management System registration.
