M00004 Liquid Thickener mixes into plastisols to raise the viscosity. Higher viscosity inks will normally print with more opacity. Easy to mix and can be mixed in by low shear mixing. Thickens Rutland *plastisols to allow them print with more opacity.Instructions:
Mix M00004 Liquid Thickener into plastisol at 1/2% up to a 1% maximum. Mixing should be with a mechanical stirring device but can be hand stirred into small batches (quarts and gallons). Do not over mix to the point of creating high friction (heat) as it could cause the plastisol to gel causing lumps. After mixing, wait for a minimum of 2 hours before printing or testing for viscosity.Statement:
