SILEXTREME CATALYST

SILEXTREME Catalyst SX0515 is a proprietary curing catalyst for use with the Rutland SILEXTREME system and added just prior to use.

Instructions:

Add SXT Catalyst at 3-5% - use 3% for longer open time or 5% for the shortest flash - on total ink weight just prior to application and make sure that the catalyst is mixed thoroughly. Only catalyze enough for 1 day, though catalyzed ink may be usable for up to 72 hours. Catalyzed inks are best stored under room temperature or less. For use with toners, mix SILEXTREME Toners with SILEXTREME Matte Base and SILEXTREME Catalyst thoroughly to print.

Recommendation:

Use any catalyzed inks within 72 hours. Do not leave catalyzed silicone ink on the screen. The SILEXTREME Catalyst can crystallize on exposure to temperatures below 80F, and go back to normal conditions when the temperature goes above 80F. Therefore, it is recommended to store the SILEXTREME Catalyst at normal room temperature.
