In Honor of Boston: T's for Limbs
Turn T's into Limbs: Response to Boston Marathon Bombing
BOSTON-As a positive response to the bombing at the Boston
Marathon, Mirror Image, Inc. teams with its industry connections,
including Printwear magazine, to support two prosthetic limb
foundations. The company is donating all the money (not just the
profits) from sales of its Boston We Stand Together T-shirts-priced
at $25-to Limbs for Life Foundation and Prosthetics Outreach
Foundation.
"Nobody is trying or going to make money on any of this, we just
want to stand together and do something positive with our grief,"
Rick Roth, president of Mirror Image, Inc. and Printwear
contributor, says. "With the assistance of our friends and
supporters in the garment and printing industry, our pals at
Jakprints and some donors, we can sell 1,000 shirts for a total of
$25,000, which will be split in half between the two
organizations."
